Botswana - Places To Stay

Kanana Camp
South Western Okavango Delta - Kanana Camp is set in the Kanana Concession, deep in the Delta amongst grass covered islands and a network of waterways. The traditional camp is set amongst ancient ebony, acacia and sausage trees, and the luxury canvas style tents are built on stilts to insure a good view of the surrounding floodplains. The camp offers a dining and sitting area, a cocktail bar and a small plunge pool. Professionally managed menus include fresh bread baked daily and fresh vegetables. Kanana Camp is one of the few camps in the Delta to have its 'own' heronry where many migratory water birds come to nest from July onwards. Birds you will encounter at the heronry include marabou, yellow-bill and open-bill storks.
