Mashatu Game Reserve - Mashatu is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary of 30 000 hectares, situated at the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers in the Northern Tuli Region. Mashatu Main Camp offers 14 tastefully and authentically decorated rooms, with en-suite bathrooms and a private lounge. The camp is elevated overlooking a waterhole which offers excellent game viewing from within the camp. The Discovery Room offers a facinating insight into the history of the area and the scientific research conducted at Mashatu.

Two research projects are currently underway in Mashatu Game Reserve. The Elephant research project focusses specifically on the effect of elephants of biodiversity. The Predator research program, conducted by researcher Andrei Snyman, focusses on the socio organisation of lions in Tuli. In order to subsidise his research, Andrei conducts interpretive drives where a more detailed insight into the predators of Mashatu is offered. For a contribution to his research endeavours, join Andrei on an afternoon predator research drive where he will share with you the extraordinary life of leopards and lions from a researcher's perspective, as you search for these charismatic large predators.

Master Cards and Visa Cards are accepted for Pula transactions at Mashatu Game Reserve Camps, whilst American Express are only accepted in Rands. Diners Club cards are not accepted.
