 | ) BAOBAB's Yoga retreats are designed to focus on you. The daily yoga sessions with our Hatha Yoga instructors embrace the basic principles of Yoga and chakra cleansing and are tailored to cater for all levels and abilities. The days are planned with plenty of free time for absorbing the daily teachings with time for relaxation and contemplation. In addition, you can enjoy the surrounding desert and/or Red Sea.
Hatha Yoga emphasises balancing the opposing forces in the body, such as masculine & feminine energy, left & right, inhalation & exhalation, and thereby restoring the body to its natural equilibrium. Yoga provides a natural counter-balance to the stresses of modern life and can help you to achieve a sense of inner calm.
Classes are taught in our yoga studio or on the rooftop overlooking the Red Sea & Saudi Arabia beyond and the mountains on the other side or in a Natural Studio - the desert! |

 | ) St. Catherine's Monastery, set beneath Mount Sinai, is where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments and the site of the biblical Burning Bush. This area is the roof of the Sinai, where rocky peaks reach over 2500m and even snow falls in winter.
In the middle of the desert, St Catherine's Protectorate offers a surprising ecosystem with many freshwater pools and even some streams! Instead of watching sun rise on top of Mt Sinai, which requires the popular midnight climb shared with 100s of tourist, we offer you sunset from the summit. |
