Kenya - Best Time To Visit
Kenya's climate varies across the country. The coastal areas are tropical and humid and monsoon winds occur. The highlands are cooler and drier, with very dry and warm temperatures in the lowlands and semi-arid interior. Kenya has two rainy seasons. The longer rainfall period occurs between April and June and a shorter rainfall period lasts from November to December. Rain showers usually come during the late afternoon or overnight and do not last very long. The temperatures in the high-lying areas generally drop during the winter months of June to August and the evenings and early mornings are fairly cool. The capital of Nairobi has a very pleasant climate throughout the year due to its altitude. The coastal areas are warm to very hot year round.
