Kenya - Places To Stay
Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary - Kiangazi House is located in the 3,000-acre Oserian Game Corridor. It is ironic that "Kiangazi" is the Swahili word
meaning "hot and dry season", as the lush green gardens and rolling lawns provide a beautiful setting for the this delightful country house, overlooking Oloidien Bay and part of Lake Naivasha. With a library and a swimming pool creatively blended into the surrounding garden, this is the ideal place to relax in throughout the year. Built in the old traditional style of local stone & timber, Kiangazi House has three double ensuite bedrooms within the main house & two further double ensuite bedrooms just beyond the swimming pool. A salt lick and water hole is
excellently located at the bottom of the garden for animals to congregate at.
Highly trained professional chefs deliver an exquisite array of cuisine. Fresh vegetables & dairy products are
produced on the farm nearby and therefore obtained daily.

Kiangazi's commitment to conservation includes the careful management of both the 18,000 acre Oserian Wildlife
Sanctuary and 3,000 acre Wildlife Corridor.
Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary hosts over 45 different species of mammals including several non-indigenous species
that were imported in order to contribute to the survival of their species. Included in these are endangered
species such as White Rhino, Grevy Zebra, Cheetah & the infrequent sightings of African Wild Dogs. Biesa Oryx,
Greater Kudu, Wildebeest & Topi as well as all the species that are indigenous to the area co-exist in order to
bring together elements of Kenya's renowned Maasai Mara & Samburu districts.
Oserian Game corridor is one of the last of its kind remaining in Kenya. The corridor allows all the wildlife from
both Longonot & Hells Gate National Parks access to the lake & pastures beyond.
With >320 bird species the corridor & sanctuary are also an ornithological paradise. Amongst the bird species is
the "Grey Crested Helmet Shrike"; one of 4 endemic bird species in this country & the "last" remaining
sustainable population on earth.
Payment in KSh, USD, GBP and Euro is accepted in cash. All major credit card are also accepted.
