This self drive tour takes you to some of the quietest places in Africa. Luxurious lodges offering stunning sundowner views and safe bushwalks amongst the sand dunes and bizarre eroded rock landscapes of Damarland. Experience the cultural sights of Africa's unique San rock art at Twyfelfontein as well as the awe inspiring Sossusvlei dunes. It also takes you on to Damaraland where you will be guided through the dry river beds to encounter the uniquely adapted desert elephants. Smaller than their cousins in the north they also have large feet to spread their weight across the shifting sands. Although not classed as a desert, you will also visit the Atlantic coast of Namibia where the cold ocean currents cool the desert landscape. Here you will find a relic of colonial influence in the town of Swakopmund with its Germanic architecture and German speaking people. From here you can view the largest colony of Cape Fur Seal in Africa where literally tens of thousands of animals thrive in the cold waters. Either drive to see them at Cape Cross or take one of the many boat tours that depart daily. Complimentary wine and oysters are served once you return to port.

This tour is designed to show you some of the must see wildlife areas in Namibia and Botswana combined with the scenic beauty of the mighty Victoria Falls in Zambia. First stop is Etosha National Park, one of the continent's greatest game viewing areas with huge herds of elephant and both black and white rhino. You will then continue along to the northeast into the Caprivi Strip, a long, skinny stretch of tropical wetland areas rich in wildlife. The Caprivi is dominated by rivers, swamps and floodplains providing a home to a wide variety of wildlife. From the Caprivi you will visit the Chobe in Botswana known for its huge concentration of elephants, especially along the Chobe River. No trip to this part of the world would be complete without a visit to the impressive Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River gorge below the falls has developed into Africa's centre for adventure sports offering adrenaline surging activities such as white water rafting, abseiling, gorge swings and the famous bungee jump into the gorge.

Amongst the unique rugged landscape of Namibia lives a diverse and special fauna and flora. This tour takes you not only to world renowned areas such as Etosha and Damaraland, but also gives you the opportunity to experience the Himba people and San Bushman living traditional lifestyles in an ever changing world.

You will start at Okonjima - home to the AfriCat Foundation - where amongst others you will be able to track radio collared leopards and see the feeding of the resident cheetahs. In Damaraland you will be guided through the dry river beds to encounter the uniquely adapted desert elephants. Experience the cultural sights of Africa's unique San rock art at Twyfelfontein as well as the opportunity to participate in cultural tours to the local communities of Himba people in the north.
Following a visit of Etosha National Park and its awesome salt pan. Following you will visit the Nhoma area and spend 2 nights next to the traditional San Bushman village of //Nhoq'ma, offering a genuine bushman experience.
