South Africa - Places To Stay

Didima Camp
Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park - The luxurious Didima Camp has been themed around the art and culture of the San people. The Camp overlooks the magnificent Ukhahlamba Mountains, a World Heritage Site and one of South Africa's premier eco-tourism destinations. A paradise for the outdoor enthusiast, Didima is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding mountains, waterfalls, streams and grasslands. The camp boasts a San Rock Art Interpretive Centre providing insight into the art and culture of the San, and includes static displays and audio-visual presentations within a reconstructed rock shelter.

The central lodge provides a restaurant and bar, an intimate lounge and shop for groceries and curios. There are cosy fireplaces throughout the main building and in the luxurious self catering chalets to keep visitors warm during the cold winter months.
