This scuba-dive itinerary offers you proper off-the-beaten-track diving, combining Mafia Island Archipelago and Mnazi Bay near Mikindani. Mnazi Bay - Ruvuma Estuary Marine Park in the remote southeast of Tanzania was gazetted in 2000 having been identified as an area of high biodiversity value at both national and international level. The Mafia Island Archipelago was designated as a Marine National Park in 1975, on the basis of its unique marine & coastal biodiversity and to protect these valuable resources from destructive fishing techniques. Due to the remote location of these areas and the intimate nature of its lodges, you will never dive in a crowd. Most of the diving is done off traditional dhows carrying a maximum of 8 divers.

Mount Kilimanjaro is famous as the highest peak in Africa, and perhaps what makes its snow-capped summit all the more impressive is that it stands alone towering almost 5,000m above the surrounding plains. A trek up Kili is an exhilarating, beautiful and challenging experience and your reward, of watching the sunrise from the top of Africa's highest mountain, is breathtaking.

BAOBAB offers you the chance to climb to the peak of Kili following the lesser-used Machame route. This route takes 6-7 days and offers a gradual ascent, a wide range of scenic areas and gives plenty of time to acclimatise.

This Kilimanjaro trek is available on a tailor-made basis for private treks, couples or small groups. Other routes such as the Rongai are also available.

This itinerary gives you a good overview of the Northern National Parks, offering unrivalled safari experiences in terms of the abundance and diversity of wildlife and the variety of landscapes. It is based on mobile safari in small (tented) lodges and the option for a couple of nights adventure camping. This itinerary is great for first time visitors and families.

The Serengeti is most famous for the annual Wildebeest Migration, which is what this itinerary is all about. The safari lodges used are seasonal camps that move with the migration, so you are ensured of prime positions to witness this awesome annual phenomenon with opportunities for bush walks. Best time for this itinerary is June - November.

Visit some of the most famous wildlife parks in the world in northern Tanzania, such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, offering unrivalled safari experiences in terms of the abundance and diversity of wildlife and the variety of landscapes. The Serengeti is most famous for the annual Wildebeest Migration, but also has large populations of e.g. lion, cheetah, elephant and giraffe. Combine this with an off-the-beaten-track beach & diving destination on the Swahili Coast, Mafia Archipelago, known for its diverse and spectacular natural environment both marine as well as terrestrial.

With this itinerary you will visit the phenomenally beautiful Selous Game Reserve & Ruaha National Park for one of the best classical safari experiences. The focal point in both parks is a major river, Rufiji River in Selous and Ruaha River in Ruaha as the focal point and a major draw for wildlife. These parks display beautiful and wild landscapes and possess an impressive diversity of wildlife and virgin bush.

You will stay in semi-permanent safari camps based in either comfortable & stylish A-framed tents or small bandas with proper beds, furniture and en-suite bathroom facilities. A more luxurious option is available in luxury, safari style tented lodges. The wide range of landscapes and habitats makes these Southern Parks ideally suited for combinations of game drives, walking and boat safaris. A daily choice of assorted safari excursions is on offer. This trip will give you a truly unforgettable, classical Africa-style safari experience.

Start with a few days relaxing on an idyllic Robinson Crusoe Island boasting 9 km of deserted beach, followed by safari in the Selous, the largest Game Reserve in Tanzania. The number of tourists is capped to limit the environmental impact in Selous together with its immense size, gives you a real sense of isolation, exploration and discovery. Unlike Tanzania's northern National Parks, walking safaris with an armed ranger are permitted in Selous. You will finish on the south west coast of Zanzibar, a beautiful white sandy beach lined with coconut palms and spectacular views across a coral reef to the azure Indian Ocean beyond.

Would you like to experience real off the beaten track Tanzanian safaris? This itinerary explores the less frequented wildlife areas, including the newly gazetted Saadani National Park on the Indian Ocean Coast. It also includes Mikumi and Ruaha and several road transfers to experience the real Tanzania. Tanzania has some of the most untouched National Parks in Africa. The number of tourists visiting the reserves in the south of Tanzania is limited and this, together with their remote location, makes them ideal for travellers seeking a sense of isolation, exploration, and discovery.

Start with a wildlife safari in the Selous, the largest Game Reserve in Tanzania. Selous is a unique safari destination where game drives, walking safaris and boat safaris are all possible from one location. From Selous you will fly to Pemba (Mozambique) to spend some time in Quirimbas National Park at Guludo - relaxing, getting to know the local community, swimming, snorkelling & maybe some diving.

Tanzania has some of the most untouched Game Reserves in Africa. The number of tourists visiting Selous Game Reserve is limited and this, together with its immense size, makes the reserve ideal for travellers seeking a sense of isolation, exploration, and discovery.

The natural surroundings of Guludo in Northern Mozambique are spectacular, with so much to discover both under water and on land. This truly unique beachside eco-lodge offers diving on some of the most diverse coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, and a variety of other land and water based activities.
