The Serengeti is most famous for the annual Wildebeest Migration, which is what this itinerary is all about. The safari lodges used are seasonal camps that move with the migration, so you are ensured of prime positions to witness this awesome annual phenomenon with opportunities for bush walks. Best time for this itinerary is June - November.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your lodge near Arusha. Overnight at Kigongoni Lodge on HB basis.

Day at leisure to relax and explore the Arusha and Kigongoni area. Overnight at Kigongoni Lodge on HB basis.

An internal flight from Arusha will take you to an exclusive seasonal camp in the Central Serengeti. The mobile camp changes its location throughout the year to move with the migration through the Serengeti. Spend the next two days on game drives in some of the most remote areas of the park. Overnight at Olakira on FB basis.

A short internal flight will take you to another seasonal camp in the Mara River area of the Serengeti. Spend the next two days on game drives and witness one of the spectacular river crossings. The migration also attracts a variety of predators like lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dogs. Overnight at Sayari Camp on FB basis.

An internal flight will take you back to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departing flight.

You can add a 4 night extension at Matemwe on the beautiful northeast coast of Zanzibar on a FB basis, with transfers and a return KLM flight from Zanzibar.
