Tanzania - Places To Stay
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Gibb's Farm Lodge is a working farm located on the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater, only 25 mins drive via a tarmac road to the Crater entrance. The cosy farmhouse and en-suite cottages are set within the lodge's beautiful english gardens. The 80 year old farmhouse, with intimate living rooms, cozy reading corners and inviting
fireplaces, retains her character of a well-looked after
private house. Just steps away is the dining
room, where Farm-fresh meals are served daily - most of the delicious home cooked food and coffee is organically grown on the farm.
A library, coffee roasting area and gift shop are all
tucked inside the Farmhouse. The patio and front
garden area share sweeping views of the valley and surrounding escarptment hills.
