Ndutu Safari Lodge
Southern Serengeti - Ndutu Safari Lodge is located in the remote southern Serengeti eco-system, overlooking Lake Ndutu. Set under a canopy of giant acacia trees, the lodge offers a superb base from which to explore a range of habitats in the area. Accommodation are comfortable stone cottages that extend from the central, open-sided bar, lounge and dining room. Each room has its own private veranda for guests to relax and watch wildlife passing through the area. There are no fences around the lodge and wild animals wander through camp at all hours of day and night. Good quality home cooked meals are served in the central dining room. Guests can relax around the campsire or in the bar after dinner while coffee is served.

Location
Situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation area in the southern Serengeti eco-system.

Travel Information
The lodge is accessible by road, approx 7 hours from Arusha and about 2 hours from Ngorongoro Crater.
Flights by light aircraft can be arranged to Ndutu airstrip, approx 50 minute flight followed by a short road transfer to the lodge.

There are no fences around the lodge and animals wander through at all hours of the day & night. Although children are permitted to stay at Ndutu, an adult must supervise them at all times.

Game drives, guided bush walks accompanied by NCAA ranger (US$20 per group)

Wildebeest Migration: Large herds of wildebeest, zebra and other plain's game are around during the rains (December-May). They calve on the plains in February, they gallop through the woodlands and swim across the lake.
