Discover the wildlife and landscapes of Zambia's famous South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Parks. There is both comfort and wilderness in river locations with magnificent views and an abundance of wildlife. This trip offers you the opportunity to experience some of the best safari destinations in Africa at an affordable price.

This itinerary will take you to some of Africa's wildest landscapes, off-the-beaten track, to enjoy some fabulous natural scenery and wildlife. The safari activities included in this trip have been designed in conjunction with the local people and the community benefits economically from your visit.

Although it may rain periodically, the bush it at its most vibrant in the Emerald season. One of the highlights for this time of the year are the big cats - just like their domestic cousins they dislike getting wet so can often be seen coming out onto the roads. Although this time of the year is not ideal for game walks due to lush vegetation, plenty of wildlife can be spotted during morning and afternoon game drives in the park. Option to extend this safari with a trip to Livingstone with the main reason for visiting undoubtedly the spectacular Victoria Falls - one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

An exclusive, classic African safari experience in the South Luangwa Valley staying in 4 different parts of the park. Most activities are organised in the morning and late afternoon with time to relax during the heat of the day. Choice of walking safaris with wildlife guide & armed ranger and day & night game drives with `compulsory' sundowners at a convenient viewpoint.

Experience all that the outstanding Lower Zambezi National Park has to offer; the renowned Chiawa Camp from where game drives, walks, canoe trips, fishing and river safaris are taken. Then a spectacular transfer 35 km by motorboat (or canoe) to tranquil Old Mondoro Bushcamp for walks and game drives.

If you would like to extend your Safari itinerary with a couple of days you can spend a few days in Livingstone and visit the world renowned Victoria Falls. The itinerary below is only a suggestion and can be tailored to suit your needs. There are various accommodation and activity options available to choose from.

A true classic African safari in the South Luangwa Valley followed by time in Malawi on Lake Malawi and Liwonde National Park. Malawi is often referred to as the warm heart of Africa offering friendly people, diverse landscapes and the amazingly beautiful Lake Malawi.
