Zambia - Places To Stay
Zambezi River Western area - Set in a grove of mahogany and acacia trees, Chiawa Camp became the first safari lodge inside the Park. The camp has spectacular waterside views from its main veranda. It was voted as one of Africa's Top 10 Safari Camps and no effort has been spared to provide guests with a truly sensational Zambian safari experience. Chiawa Camp is constructed essentially of natural materials and has a modern infrastructure built in a traditional style. The tents are spacious and well ventilated set on raised wooden decks. The main lounge has an upstairs observation deck and during the summer there is a plunge pool whilst the fireplace is great for the cooler winter nights.
