Zambia - Places To Stay
Zambezi River/Chiawa Game Management Area - Kasaka River Lodge is a small luxury tented camp offering an authentic and memorable safari experience. Nestled on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Chiawa Game Management Area, it is set in a natural bush environment with each chalet secluded amongst the native flora. Only 4 km by road from the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia and the famed Mana Pools World Heritage Site in Zimbabwe on the opposite side of the Zambezi. The river extends the length of the property and there are breathtaking views over the water with sightings of buffalo, elephant, hippo and crocodile. It is Kasaka's philosophy to combine the tranquility of an off the beaten track destination while supporting & conserving the local environment, culture, and natural resources.
The luxury tented chalets are tastefully decorated with an authentic African flavour. The tents are large walk-in safari tents with two single beds or one king-sized beds and set on a wooden deck. Each has an elegantly furnished en-suite bathroom with flush toilets and powerful heated showers.
Located in the Chiawa Game Management Area (GMA) adjacent to the Lower Zambezi National Park. On the opposite banks of the Zambezi River is Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe.
