Zambezi River Western area - Old Mondoro is an exclusive seasonal bushcamp set in a beautiful area overlooking a maze of hippo inhabited islands & channels. Here, the Park is characterised by vast floodplains and open woodland making for ideal walking & game viewing opportunities. The concept of Old Mondoro is simple - to step back from the ultra-luxurious lodges and rather provide an authentic remote safari that concentrates on the wildlife and bush experience. The traditionally designed tents are rustic and simple but offer stunning views and have twin or double beds with large mosquito nets. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom with loos and buscket showers.

Fly by Cessna caravan (30 mins.) from Lusaka to "Jeki" airstrip, followed by a 1 hour game-drive/transfer through the park to Old Mondoro Bush Camp
