All accommodation can be booked in combination or individually, on a fully tailor-made basis – you decide how long you want to stay and where. A visit to Cape Town and Cape Peninsula can be combined with other destinations in South Africa, such as Shark Alley Route (Western Cape), Cape Overberg, the Garden Route and Port Elizabeth and Addo Elephant Park.

Cape Town accommodation:

Four Rosmead Boutique Guesthouse (4*)
Four Rosmead is an exclusive 4 star guesthouse situated on the slopes of Table Mountain in the suburb of Oranjezicht with beautiful views of the mountain, Lions Head, Signal Hill, Table Bay and Cape Town city. This classified monument was built in 1903 and recently restored. Its interior is chic, eclectic and contemporary with a subtle yet distinctive African spirit, enhanced by a great collection of original South African artwork (most pieces are for sale).

Four Rosmead has only 8 en-suite bedrooms all with extra length beds, air-conditioning, bath or shower, heated towel rail, under-tile heating, bathrobes, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, bar-fridge, coffee & tea making facilities, electronic safe and broadband wireless internet access.

Its landscaped gardens, a pamper spa offering a variety of massage treatments and a patio overlooking a pool deck & herb garden all contribute giving it a feel of an urban sanctuary, allowing you to relax & unwind while exploring Cape Town and its surrounding area. Ezard House

Ezard House is situated on the slopes of Table Mountain in Camps Bay and provides a luxurious experience. It has panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding mountains with the Twelve Apostles sweeping away into the distance. Ezard House is a landmark of sophisticated design and convenience, a haven for the traveller looking for the standards set in world class hotels, but with the personal attention of a boutique retreat.

It has 9 exclusive rooms and 2 suites all with balconies and sea or mountain views, en-suite bathrooms and some with Jacuzzi baths. All rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, u nder floor heating, satellite TV & DVD, mini-bar, electronic safe, hairdryer and internet connection.

Ezard House provides excellent cuisine from an open plan kitchen where à la Carte chefs prepare anything you may re quest . Food is served with fine wines from an extensive wine list. You can relax in the private heated pool or roof-top Jacuzzi, and have exclusive access to the wellness centre offering beauty & relaxation treatments, sauna and some exercise equipment.

Ezard House is only 50 m from a mountain trail, hence walks & picnics can easily be arranged. Children over 14 are welcome.

An African Villa

An African Villa is a spacious 4 star guesthouse situated halfway between the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain. Its three double-story Victorian terrace houses are linked together creating an impressive city villa. The original houses date back to the late 1800’s, all recently refurbished & decorated in a sophisticated contemporary African style. 

An African Villa has 12 en-suite bedrooms all equipped with shower or bath, air conditioning & heating in winter, TV, electronic safe, telephone, hairdryer. At the heart of the house lie a large & welcoming kitchen, dining room and comfortable lounge in which to relax with a complimentary glass of sherry or port, freely available coffee or tea or other beverages from the honesty bar.

Other facilities include a library with free internet access and a tranquil courtyard with bubbling plunge pool, tables and loungers inviting you to soak up the sun after a morning’s sightseeing . Cape Paradise Lodge

Cape Paradise Lodge is a small guesthouse in the Gardens suburb high on the slopes of Table Mountain with beautiful view across the City. It is within walking distance of shops, bars & restaurants on Kloof Street and a short drive from Waterfront & Camps Bay.

The lodge has only 5 rooms, all well appointed in African-style with en-suite bathrooms (shower) and all with king-size beds & mossie nets. Elephant & Bushman rooms offer romantic 4-poster beds and 4 rooms have their own veranda. Rooms are simple but comfortable with electronic safes.

Breakfast can be enjoyed in the breakfast/lounge area with a cosy fireplace and honesty drinks and coffee & tea bar, or outside on the viewing deck. From the lounge you step out into a lovely & tranquil garden with spacious pool and resident dogs and cat. Phone, fax & internet facilities, as well as secure off-street parking are available.

Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse

Only 75 mins drive north of Cape Town lies Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse, the original homestead on a large private estate, a working wheat & sheep farm and nature reserve, with a spectacular mountain backdrop of Elandskloof Mountains.

This exclusive country lodge with only 4 rooms and 1 suite offers luxurious and personalised country hospitality. All rooms have been elegantly restored and individually decorated with an eye for detail. On the food and wine front, Bartholomeus specialises in French cuisine with a local flavour complemented by an extensive local wine list. High tea is served daily - a serious affair with a lavish spread of sweet and savoury temptations.

The glory of Bartholomeus is its 4,000 ha of fynbos nature reserve, part of the Cape Floral Kingdom, with many rare plant species, the endangered geometric tortoise and eland, spring-bok, bontebok, black wildebeest, red hartebeest and zebras. Guests can enjoy game drives, walking in the reserve, mountain biking, bird watching and windsurfing & boating on the dam.

Auberge Rozendal

Auberge Rozendal is set on the Rozendal estate situated in the Jonkershoek Valley in close proximity to the wine capital Stellenbosch. The 25 ha large estate comprises of vineyards, pastures, gardens and forest & fynbos. They offer amongst others onsite health & beauty treatments and wine tasting tours.

The country inn has 16 en-suite rooms all with terraces situated between the vineyards and with majestic mountain views. The rooms are simple, elegant and comfortable and many decorated by works of well-known contemporary South African artists.

Their restaurant’s chef was trained at Le Quartier Francais and Monneaux Restaurant in Franschhoek. The menu can be des-cribed as fresh, creative and natural, using seasonal ingredients many locally produced or from their bio-dynamic garden.
