All accommodation can be booked in combination or individually, on a fully tailor-made basis – you decide how long you want to stay and where. Namib Nakluft Accommodation

Desert Homestead: This lodge has one of the most peaceful locations within the Namib Desert area. It lies in a wide grassy valley in the shadow of the Nakluft mountains with far reaching views into the sandy dunes of the Namib Desert.

Stylish accommodation is provided in private thatched chalets which were designed to blend peacefully into the local surroundings. Each chalet has its own private verandah from where you can enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Inside there are luxurious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms with unique locally produced shampoos and soaps. All power to the lodge is produced by wind and solar power generators.

Desert Homestead is ideally located for early morning trips into Sossuvlei and walks in the local mountains. In particular the lodge offers a range of horseback trips across the desert plains. Overnight fly camping in the surrounding desert can also be arranged.

Wolwedans: Wolwedans, which takes its name from the African - "where the wolves dance", is situated in the heart of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Nestled amidst red dunes and set against a backdrop of unparalleled beauty, Wolwedans provides the perfect base from which to explore vast stretches of awe-inspiring nature and discover the exciting variety of desert creatures.

Within different locations inside the Namib Nakluft reserve Wolwedans offers different styles of lodge accommodation to suit your own style of comfort. Dunes Lodge is the main accommodation with a modern style built on raised wooden platforms above the desert. Uniquely each room is open on one side allowing you to watch the sun rise dramatically over the mountain s from the comfort of your own bed.

For more solitude Dunes Camp is located deeper inside the reserve and sleeps just 12 guests at any one time. The style is similar although accommodation is inside large canvas tents fitted with wooden beds and en-suite bathrooms. Wolwedans Private camp is an even more exclusive option with a further remote location and space for just four guests. The emphaisis here is on pure relaxation and the staff will provide you with all the refreshments you need which can be self-prepared in the huge open plan kitchen. This camp is ideal for a couple of nights in combination with main lodge.
