Getting there and around

BAOBAB Travel is affiliated with most major airlines, including British Airways, Air Namibia and Royal Jordanian, and can arrange flights out of the UK to almost anywhere in Africa. All flights are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL licence number is 9168.

The travelling around your holiday destination is always included in your holiday package. Our travel consultants will suggest the best way of getting around your destination and in the vast majority of cases this will be a combination of road transfers and internal flights. We will always try to weigh up the cost against travel time and give you the best option, however do not hesitate to ask for alternative modes of transport.

To give you full flexibility, in Namibia and South Africa we offer our tailor-made trips on a self-drive basis and your rental car will be booked in advance by BAOBAB Travel. However fully guided options are also available with fully accredited tour guides (e.g. SATSA and FGASA). Please contact us for further information and quotes.

All our guided tours include transport in either air-conditioned mini vans or 4x4 vehicles.
