When to travel and where to go are always the million dollar questions. The monthly travel tips below are just a flavour of the plethora of activities, events and options available to you and will hopefully whet your appetite. January	Bird watching in most Southern African countries is at its best during the wet season between December and March
February	Serengeti Migration in Tanzania is located in the South of the park, the calving season (from late January until early March) offers large herds of zebra and wildebeest concentrating in the Ndutu area attracting predators like lion, cheetah and hyena.
March	The Zebra Migration concentrate in the Makgadikgadi Pans in Botswana during the wet season from January to April. Also a great time to visit Egypt before the daytime temperatures become too hot. Why not try some scuba diving in the Red Sea?
April	Good time to visit Jordan. The climate is moderate during Spring and Autumn, whereas the Summer gets very hot, most festivals take place during this time and most eco tourism projects run only between April and October.
May	The temperatures in Malawi start to cool down just after the rainy season, and the vegetation is still lush and green. A fabulous time to explore the beautiful shores of Lake Malawi
June	Excellent time to do a Safari in one of Botswana`s game parks and visit the Okavango Delta. Sossusvlei in Namibia's June daytime temperatures are moderate and the evenings are cool which makes it a great time to visit this awe inspiring desert landscape.
July	One of the best months to do a walking safari in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, although walking safaris can generally be done throughout June to November
August	Wildebeest Migration moves through the Masai Mara in Kenya between August to October. Beat the crowds and have a genuine San Bushman experience at Nhoma in north east Namibia.
September	In South Africa it is Whale Season in the Western Cape from July to November, and the Flower Season up the West Coast starts in September. Temperatures are still cool but generally this is a good time to visit the Cape before the beaches get too crowded later in summer.
October	This is a great time to dive Mafia Island, just off the coast of Tanzania. Diving season usually lasts from October until late March.
November	Turtle breeding season generally lasts from November until February in Northern KwaZulu Natal in South Africa, and along the coast of Mozambique.
December	Peak season at most coastal areas in Southern and Eastern Africa. The weather is great and the water is warm, but to avoid disappointment bookings will have to be made well in advance!
